Riverside High School will host Wayne County tonight in basketball action. The varsity games are scheduled to start at 6 pm.
Here is the latest on Mr. Suite: He is still in the trauma unit but resting well. He is scheduled for one possibly two surgeries tomorrow. He is telling every doctor who comes in that he has got to be at the ball game Friday night. Please continue to keep Mr. Suite in your prayers. We will update as possible!

RHS wears purple for Alzheimer's Awareness! Riverside students raised over $1,200, while the entire district raised $2,354! Thank you to the teachers who volunteered for the pie in the face contest. You are all great sports! Coach Reid got initiated into Riverside as the "winner".
There will be a parade through town as we send our Panthers off to round three of the play offs! They will be escorted out of town at 3:45pm and we encourage everyone to paint the town blue and come cheer on our Panthers!
In honor of Superintendent Appreciation, Riverside students collected canned goods for the Thanksgiving holiday. RHS G-Force sponsored this activity and Barry Fowler volunteered to collect the items for Decatur County Outreach. Thank you to all of those who donated!

The RHS golf team was recognized at the basketball season opener game last night. Congratulations for being Region champions 3 years in a row and competing in the State tournament 4 years in a row. Luckily, since none of these girls are seniors, they'll all be returning for next season.

Today, in Chemistry class, Mr. Jones was hard at work with our students. Students were using the Bunsen burners to dehydrate Epsom salts to find out how many molecules of water were suspended in the magnesium sulfate crystals.

From November 28 - December 12, students at RHS will be taking End-of-Course tests and their CASE tests.
--Students who are testing that day will report at 7:45am; all other students will report to school at 9:50 a.m.
--Students who ride the bus or arrive at regular time but are not testing will be supervised in the gym until the completion of testing.
