As a component of receiving funds through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief 3.0 (ESSER 3.0) Fund under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, school districts are required to update the Public Spending Plan every six months through September 30, 2023. All expenditures must be directly linked to addressing needs that have arisen due to COVID-19 including but not limited to educational, emotional, and physical challenges arising from the virus. Please review the information below based on our current spending plan and provide any suggestions, concerns, etc. to angie.boggan@decaturschools.org.

Como parte de la recepción de fondos a través del Fondo de Ayuda de Emergencia para Escuelas Primarias y Secundarias 3.0 (ESSER 3.0) en virtud de la Ley del Plan de Rescate Estadounidense (ARP) de 2021, los distritos escolares deben actualizar el Plan de Gastos Públicos cada seis meses hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2023. Foundational Literacy Skills Plan 2021-22 - Decatur County

Decatur County Schools is currently working on the ESSER 3.0 (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief 3.0) Funding Plan which requires feedback from all school and community stakeholders. ESSER 3.0 is a part of the American Rescue Plan of 2021 for schools to address issues that resulted from COVID-19. If the funding plan/application submitted by Decatur County Schools is approved by the Tennessee Department of Education, the school system will receive $3,578,824.52. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey found below to assist us in our efforts to complete the ESSER 3.0 Funding Plan.
