Veterans from Scotts Hill American Legion Post 243 visited Riverside today for a very special Veterans Day ceremony. We want to thank them for their service and their time spent with us. RHS also enjoyed Russell Keeton's presentation of The Ragged Old Flag by Johnny Cash as only he can. The event was opened with the Riverside band and The National Anthem sung by senior student Jasmine Maddox. Band student, Kensley Delaplaine, played TAPS. Other veterans in attendance were also recognized. The veterans taught about the 13 folds of the flag and the representation of the soldiers cross. Thank you again!
