The Riverside basketball teams will host Chester County on Tuesday, December 12. The varsity games are scheduled to start at 6 pm.
Due to bus driver shortage, students riding bus 8 will be late getting dropped off. They were held at school u til another driver finished their route but are on their way home now!
Parents, Please check with your child's school for any unpaid cafeteria balances. These need to be caught up ASAP. For more information, call the school office and ask for the cafeteria! Thank you for your help with this!

Riverside senior Jayla Davenport became the school’s all-time leading scorer for any girl in school history. Davenport scored 14 points tonight against Perry County to move her career total to 1,380 points. The previous record was held by Tabitha Brasher Camper. Camper, who graduated from RHS in 1999, scored 1,372 points during her career at Riverside High School.
Congratulations Jayla on reaching this historic milestone. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to be able to coach Jayla. She’s a talented basketball player and an even better person,,” said Riverside basketball coach Brian Reid.
The RHS basketball teams will play at Perry County on Tuesday, December 5. The girls are scheduled to tip off at 6 pm.

Decatur county raised $3850.20 for Alzheimer's awareness. This year’s donation was made in honor of Jerry Broadway. Thank you to all the schools for wearing jeans, allowing the kids to wear hats, and a special thanks to the teachers who volunteered for the pie in the face fundraiser, especially Coach Reid!
