Congratulations to Jagger and Jack Cupples for making the All Region Tournament team. Great job!

Over the past two days, RHS students have ventured to the Little Panther Learning Center to read to them as part of Read Across Week. Thanks to them and Mr. Jay Cox for doing this and pouring into our youngest learners.

TOTAL PROGRAM!!
In Professor Jones's Chemistry 2 class, students examined a dye this morning to see how it absorbed light and used it to determine concentrations of the dye in unknown samples. They learned how to dilute samples and use a colorimeter, real skills that analytical chemists use.
In his Chemistry 1 class, students looked at gas discharge lamps to see what colors makeup gas lamps. This helps show that electrons have transitions they undergo when they're excited.
In Ms. Frost's Biology class, students were working on recessive and dominant genes while learning how to use a Punnent square to predict the genotypes of a particular cross or breeding experiment.
In Ms. Ruthie's class, students watched a presentation from RHS students about the impact of fentanyl on people's lives. The audience provided feedback as these students were preparing for an upcoming competition.

Annie Pettigrew, Senior Dance Team Member, was recently interviewed by Jobs for America's Graduates Tennessee about the dance team's national championship and the impact JAGTN and RHS have had on her life and education! Read all about Annie here:

Check out what our students were into today. Students in our machine class could share what they were doing and the specifics of the machine they were working on. Their sharing ability speaks well of what they are learning in our classes. Keep up the great work.
