Congratulations to the Lady Panther Golf Team!! They traveled to Pickwick this week to play in the Hardin County Golf Invitational with 20 teams participating. The girls were the winners of the tournament with a total score of 158 with Macy Bromley being 2nd medalist with a 78.
Elementary Special Education Teacher Needed
The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for a Special Education Teaching position that would provide K-4 instruction to elementary school special education students. Only applicants with a current Tennessee teacher license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 will be considered for the position. Department: Coordinated School Health
Status: Full-time
Hours: 8:00 - 3:30 with 30 minute lunch
Schedule: 10 month, Monday through Friday Location: Coordinated School Health Office Supervision: Coordinated School Health Coordinators Responsibilities
● Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
● Ability to assess health and safety needs of students, families, and school employees
● Ability to work with technology programs and equipment
● Knowledge of basic principles of research, statistics, data collection, and analysis
● Working with Coordinated School Health Coordinators to ensure compliance with district
nutrition, health services, physical education policies, and state school health laws.
● Assist with coordination of Coordinated School Health programs
● Assist with coordination of services in community projects
● Attend related school health meetings as well as meetings of local agency organizations
(Health Council)
● Assist with ordering, maintenance, and inventory of supplies
● Attend required meetings and conferences

Congratulations to the Riverside High School bass fishing team on their successful tournament this weekend!
The team finished 49th out of around 20,000 boats from across the country.
The Riverside girls team is ranked #1 in the nation! They were also 49th out of 315 of the best high school fisherman/fisherwomen in the country And only missed big fish of the tournament by half a pound! Congratulation to this team and their coach, Justin Kelley!
