2023 Golf Schedule -

There will be a free "yard sale" tomorrow for school clothes, shoes, and accessories from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. This will be hosted at Coordinated School Health located at 40 School Drive in Parsons.

Please see the following information in regards to free and reduced lunch! IF YOU RECEIVE FOOD STAMP BENEFITS YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION, YOU ARE ALREADY PRE-APPROVED. YOU ONLY NEED ONE FORM PER FAMILY NOT PER CHILD.

There will be a special called board meeting on Tuesday, July 25th at 6pm with a board work session at 5pm in the board room at the board of education.

Freshman orientation will be held at Riverside High School on August 1st at 7:00 pm. All new students and Freshman are encouraged to attend!

RHS Freshman Orientation will be August 1st at 7:00 PM. Freshmen will be able to pick up schedules, meet teachers, tour the school, and get supply lists.

The Decatur County School System is seeking applications for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) position. Please see posting for more information!

Registration, for those that need to make changes or register a new student, will be August 1st from 7:30am-9:30am at each school. The first day of the 23-24 school year will be Thursday, August 3rd!

2023 Riverside High School Football Schedule

ATTENTION STUDENTS, PARENTS, and GUARDIANS Soccer tryouts will be July 24th-July 28th on the Soccer field behind the old junior high at 40 School Dr. Parsons, TN, 38363. Tryouts will be from 3:30pm to 5pm. Players will need to be dressed appropriately for weather and for trying out for a coed team. There will be one last attempt to tryout if this week is missed which will be the week of August 28th through September 1st. Same place and same times. I look forward to seeing both past and future Riverside Soccer Players there. A parent meeting will be announced once the soccer team roster is finalized. -Coach Mangrum

You can go to the studio for multiple options, backgrounds, and clothing changes. If you are only looking for your formal and casual yearbook photo, he will be at Riverside on July 10. There will be a special called school board meeting to discuss budget Wednesday at 5 o'clock at the board of education.

The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for a Middle School Mathematics teacher for Grades 5-8. Applicants should submit a detailed resume that includes previous employment experience and all Tennessee teacher license certifications. Only applicants with a current Tennessee teacher license with an endorsement in K-5, K-8, or Mathematics 6-12, 7-12, or 6-10 will be considered for the position. RHS will host schedule preview days the first week of July. July 3rd- Seniors, July 5th- Juniors, July 6th- Sophomores, July 7th- Make up day. Each day will be from 8am-12pm in the library. Please use the outside library door only.
