Performance Responsibilities: * Perform all secretarial and bookkeeper duties for the Transportation Department. * Bookkeeping experience a plus. * Ability to perform tasks on time to meet state and federal requirements. * Knowledge and understanding of student transportation, rules and regulations governing student transportation. * Possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal. * Ability to perform duties and responsibilities of the transportation Dept. * Build positive relationships with all district staff. * Maintain confidentiality of students and staff information. * Perform other duties assign by Transportation Director or Director of Schools. . PHYSICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL DEMANDS: * Continual sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand/arm movements * Medium to heavy work load * Moderate exposure to vehicle fumes and chemicals.
