Riverside High School

With school being out next week, we wanted to allow students to take each exam. We will move to the following schedule for December 15. 3rd Period - 7:45-8:45 2nd breakfast - 8:45-8:55 4th - 9-10 5th - 10-11 6th - 11-12 Lunch-12 Students can leave with a note. CASE makeups can also be completed. See Dr. King.

The Riverside basketball teams will travel to Frank Hughes School on Thursday, December 14. The varsity games are scheduled to start at 6 pm.

Due to rising sickness, school will be closed Monday and Tuesday 12/18-12/19. On Friday, 12/14, schools will finish testing and have Christmas parties and activities. We hope this allows everyone to get well in time for Christmas!

Thursday, December 14th: 7:45-9:00: 1st Period final 9:00-9:10: Break/Second Breakfast 9:10-10:25: 2nd Period final 10:30-11:00: Lunch Students can bring a parent note to have permission to leave early. The parent notes must be signed by a parent/guardian and have a phone number to call so we can verify the note.

Today at RHS, we held a scavenger hunt for our teachers and staff. There were 3 $25 gift cards hidden in the school. The winners were Ms. Rita, Coach Whitwell, and Mr. Tate (we did not get a picture). Coach Quinn was right there to cheer on the winners. Maybe we can get Coach Quinn and Mr. Tate in one tomorrow (LOL). And how can you miss a chance to take a picture with someone wearing the same sweatshirt? Thanks, Cadie Beth! Mr. Jay was there also!

The Decatur County Bands' Christmas Concert has been postponed due to the number of students who are sick and unable to perform. This will be rescheduled in January once we return to school. Thank you for your understanding!

Due to the number of makeups, we need to move tomorrow, December 13, to a testing day. If you need to make up a CASE/EOC, please arrive at 7:45. If you ride a bus, you will report to the gym as usual. All others should report at 9:50.

The Riverside basketball teams will host Chester County on Tuesday, December 12. The varsity games are scheduled to start at 6 pm.

Due to bus driver shortage, students riding bus 8 will be late getting dropped off. They were held at school u til another driver finished their route but are on their way home now!

Parents, Please check with your child's school for any unpaid cafeteria balances. These need to be caught up ASAP. For more information, call the school office and ask for the cafeteria! Thank you for your help with this!
