Senior Recognition for basketball season is Tuesday, Feb. 6. Parents are asked to be in the gym ready to line up at 5:00pm. Senior Night will begin at 5:10. This involves senior girls and boys basketball players and senior cheerleaders. (Dance recognition is Saturday, Feb. 10)
The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for Decatur County Middle School Head Football Coach Position. Applicants should submit a detailed resume that includes previous employment experience and all Tennessee teacher license certifications. Only applicants with a current Tennessee Teacher license will be considered for the position. All certifications are encouraged to apply. It is National CTE Month and DCSS wants to highlight some of the amazing programs we have in CTE! What is CTE? Career-Technical Education includes any programs that prepare students for college and career in a specific industry! In Decatur County, we have Human-Social Services, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Mechanics, Advanced Manufacturing, Electrical/Plumbing, HVAC, Networking/Cabling, and Nursing Services. Most of these programs are dual-enrollment for all four years, earning students college credits, credentials, or licenses! We also have CTE in our middle school! Tickets must be purchase on GoFan (website or app). There will not be an option to pay cash for tickets at the gate. Tickets are $7, with a $1 processing fee. Five years and older must have a ticket.
Once at the gate, a school representative will validate ticket(s) for entry. Please do not validate on your own. You must show your ticket(s) on your phone. We will not accept screenshots or print outs of tickets.
