Now Hiring SPED PREK Inclusion Teacher
The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for a PreK Special Education Inclusion Teacher that would provide instruction to VPK students with disabilities. Only applicants with a current Tennessee teacher license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 will be considered for the position.
The deadline for submitting an application is Friday, May 3, 2024.
Volleyball Tryouts

RHS students are showing out this weekend at qualifying events.
Georgia Stultz at NBTA Tennessee State Twirling Competition. She will move on to the national competition in July at Notre Dame.
Christopher Miller, Hayden Wyatt, Sarah Swindle, and Lanie Holbert have qualified at the TN State Fishing Championship after their placements at the Bassmaster State Trail yesterday.

Congratulations to Riverside seniorJayla Davenport for being selected to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State team for Class 2A. Fifteen players across the state of Tennessee were selected to the All-State team in Class 2A.
Ms. Haggard's Biology II class has dissected fetal pigs over the past few days. Tank (Kayden Edwards) shows how long the pig's small intestine is when unraveled. Great job, Ms. Julie and class!

Applicants should submit a detailed resume that includes previous employment and related softball coaching experience and all Tennessee teacher license certifications. All certifications are encouraged to apply. A Tennessee Teaching License is preferred, but not required to be considered for this position. The RHS Library Book Swap date has been moved to Thursday, April 11. It will be a come-and-go in the RHS library from 2:00-3:30. Any students, faculty, or parents can participate. Bring your gently used books that you no longer want to the RHS library from now until Wed., Apr.10. However many books you bring, that's how many books you get to take!
