Summer School registration is now open for 2024! Paper forms were sent home today or you can register by clicking the Summer School tab on the Decatur County Schools website! April 2nd is the last day to register!


DCSS is now hiring a part time aide for the Little Panthers Preschool. See post under employment. Must be 21 years old and able to pass a TBI fingerprint background check. It's almost time for Pre-K Registration! If you have a child that will be 4 on or before August 15th, please make plans to attend the PreK Round Up on Tuesday, March 26th from 3:30-6:30. Please bring official birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency, and income verification.

As we close out CTE month in TN, we wanted to highlight our JAGTN program. This program prepares students for life after high school whether it be post-secondary or career. Our students, taught by Ms. Janet Pettigrew, learn skills for adulthood such as budgeting, interview and resume skills, professional dress, how to get along with coworkers and classmates, community service, scholarship and college admissions, and anything else that is relevant to life after high school. Across the state, JAGTN students received $7.5 million in scholarships in 2023. We are very proud of this program and how it prepares our students for life! #CTEmonth #JAGTN
