MACHINE TOOL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR – PARSONS Riverside High School (Hired by TCAT Crump)
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time position of Machine Tool Technology Instructor to be located at Decatur County Riverside High School in Parsons, Tennessee.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Machine Tool Technology Diploma from an accredited technical institution and teaching experience preferred
Must have three (3) years of approved employment experience in the occupation to be taught beyond the normal learning period (generally four (4) years)
NIMS Certification or ability to obtain certification within one year
Applicant must have good communications and computer skills and be willing to remain current in the machinist field

Elementary/Middle Special Education Teacher
The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for a Special Education Teaching position that would provide K-4 instruction to elementary/Middle school special education students. Only applicants with a current Tennessee teacher license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 will be considered for the position. Today is National "Read a Book" day! We encourage everyone to read a book with their child today and enjoy that time together! "The best predictor of future education achievement and life success is reading ability," (Guthrie, 2017).
Students will be in school Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Thursday will be inservice for teachers and Parent Teacher conference from 2:00-6:00pm. Friday is a professional development day for teachers.

Grilling with Grands, Thursday, September 8th, from 5:30-7:30, is a PTO fundraiser event. It is not just for grandparents, everyone is welcome; however, each student must be accompanied by an adult. This is Parent Teacher Conference day, there is no school for students this day.
