It's time, it's time, it's time! Friday nights just mean more in Decatur County in the fall! Come cheer on YOUR Riverside Panthers in the first round of the playoffs at home tonight! Kick off is at 7pm and tickets can be purchased on goFan or at the gate! Local passes not valid!


Just a reminder that tomorrow night's playoff game at home will be at 7pm against Mt. Pleasant. Local passes are not valid and TSSAA/TACA passes only admit one. Tickets are $9.40 (with the fee) on gofan or $10 at the gate. These prices and policies are set by TSSAA.


The school board meeting that was scheduled. Next week will be moved to Tuesday, November 7th, at the Decatur County Board of Education.

Columbia Coatings supports Decatur County Schools Columbia Coating owners, Brian and Michelle Talley, generously gave a sizable donation to Decatur County Schools on Friday, October 27th. The Talleys are relocating their 25-year business to our area. Their company will potentially bring 50 jobs to this area over the next couple of years and offer powder coating finishing equipment and powders for the commercial and custom market. They are also a direct distributor of PPG powders and supplies. Decatur County Schools welcome the Talley family and their business, Columbia Coatings. We look forward to partnering and thank you again for your support and donation.


The tickets for Friday Night's game on GoFan are $9.40 total with the convenience fee they charge to use their services. They are $10 cash at the gate. Neither price is set by Decatur County Schools.

In honor of cancer awareness, RHS cheerleaders will be hosting a survivor walk for those that have had cancer, going through cancer, or have a family member that has battled cancer tonight, 10-19 at the football stadium at 6:30. If you would like to participate in this walk, please meet at the goal post at 6:25.


The Decatur County School System is seeking applicants for a Part-time Social Work Intern to work with the Coordinated School Health Office. Applicants should submit a detailed resume that includes previous employment experience and all license/certifications.
