The Decatur County Board of Education will have a special called work session at 6pm on Thursday, March 2nd at the Decatur County Board of Education.

The Decatur County School Board will meet in regular session on Tuesday, March 6, 2023 in the Decatur County Board of Education. Public input will begin at 6:00pm with the meeting beginning promptly at 6:15.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Lifeline Blood Services will be at Decatur County Middle School this Thursday, February 16th from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
If you have any children, grandkids, nieces and/or nephews that go to Decatur County Middle, they are counting on you to come and donate for them and for their homeroom class. The top home room class will win a pizza party and the top student with the most donors will win a $20 gift card.
Come support the students and you’re community by donating blood at Decatur County Middle School this Thursday. We have our LONG SLEEVE t-shirts back for this month only. Every donor will receive one.

PES had a visit from Buster the Bus last week to teach the students about bus and traffic safety.







Congratulations to Jack Cupples on scoring 1000 points in his middle school basketball career! He is now the DCMS Highest Scorer in its history!


FCCLA members led 5th graders in fun activities to help build their self-esteem. They shared positive affirmations with each other and discussed bullying.

Please join us for the DES vs. PES game Friday night and watch all of the student basketball teams from PreK-4th grade. The cost is $2 to get in and the schools will split the proceeds!


Mary Milam turned in tickets for a positive office visit!! Mary is always on task, she is responsible, and she is a very hard worker!! Ms. Brooklyn Smith had lots of great things to say about Mary!


The basketball game tonight at Riverside High School will be played at the regular time at 6:00pm. The gate will open at 4:00pm. It will be the regularly scheduled Senior Night!
