.
Decatur County Schools is proud to announce Mr. Reed Keeton as the new DCMS Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year!

.
Reed is a graduate of Riverside High School and continued his education at UT Martin Parsons Center. He is married to the former Halle Blackstock, and together they have made their home right here in our community. We are thrilled to have him return home and invest in our students while doing what he loves.

.
Coach Keeton shared:

“I look forward to stepping in as the new DCMS girls' basketball coach! Ms. Jackie Arnold and Coach Dawson Jowers will be helping me. We want to build a hard-nosed, aggressive, and relentless basketball team. We want everyone to see how hard a group of girls can work to get what they want. We really look forward to working with a great group of student-athletes and parents. I hope our hard work and dedication to the game and to this community will show in great ways soon. Look out for DCMS girls basketball. We will be doing lots of fundraisers in the community pretty soon. Thank you!”
