Decatur County Schools

Ms. Kayla Tharp, 7^th grade English teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Decatur County Middle School. Her fellow teachers said, “She rarely takes off from school and is always encouraging her students to be their best. She's really good with the kids.” DCMS administration said, “Ms. Kayla is always kind and caring towards students and staff alike. She is one of our 7th grade team leaders and volunteers to help with other activities whenever needed. Her lessons keep students engaged.” Ms. Kayla has made her home at Decatur County Middle School.  We are so proud to have Ms. Kayla for our students and community!
