Decatur County Schools

Ms. Sierra Kelly, Kindergarten teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Parsons Elementary School for the month of January. Her fellow teachers said, “Ms. Sierra makes learning fun for her students.  She is a compassionate person who takes action when she sees a student in need.  Ms. Sierra not only cares for her students’ needs in the classroom, but outside the classroom as well.  She recently saw the need to help one of her students and their family when they lost their home and immediately jumped in to get them what they needed!” Ms. Sierra Kelly is an excellent addition to our Decatur County family and we are very proud she to have her as part of our family.
