Ms. Tonya Johnson, 3^rd grade ELA teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Decaturville Elementary School for December. Principal Melinda Thompson said, “Ms. Tonya really prepares students for the grades that follow. She cares about her students and truly wants them to succeed, not just with academics but in life. She's a great person to collaborate with and is always willing to help!” Her fellow teachers said " Many times in class, a student will say, "Ms. Tonya taught us that!" We are so proud Ms. Tonya has chosen Decatur County to live and work!
