Decatur County Schools

Mr. Patrick Brasher, 3^rd grade math teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Decaturville Elementary School for October. Principal Melinda Thompson said, “He does a great job making a very tough subject fun and interactive for his students. He goes above and beyond to make sure they are getting what they need to make them successful! He always encourages them, roots for them, and pushes them to be the best they can be!” His fellow teachers said " As a coworker he’s willing to collaborate to help his students and is always willing to share his ideas!” Mr. Brasher is a native of Decatur County and graduated from Riverside.  We are so glad he chose to come and give back to the system he grew up in!
