Decatur County Schools

Ms. Veronica Shelton, high school Special Education teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Riverside High School for the month of October. According to fellow teachers, Ms. Veronica was selected because she “Her care for her students is evident EVERY day. Her plans for her students are detail oriented and always have parent and stakeholder input.” Her fellow teachers said that, “every school should have a Veronica Shelton.” Ms. Veronica truly cares about the students of Decatur County! We are so proud Ms. Veronica calls Decatur County home!
