Decatur County Schools

Mr. Alan Wyatt, 5^th grade Social Studies teacher, was named Teacher of the Month at Decatur County Middle School for the month of August.  According to Principal, Brandi Smith, “Mr. Alan is well liked by both students and his colleagues. While he takes his calling of teaching seriously, he can usually be found joking around with students and staff alike.”  He fellow teachers said, “he is always happy-go-lucky and enjoyable to be around.”   Mr. Alan was voted on by the teachers and staff at DCMS for this award.  Mr. Alan is a valued member of the DCMS staff and we are thankful he has chosen this as his profession.
