Ms. Lauren Duke was named Teacher of the Month at Decaturville Elementary School for May for her love of students and her growth mindset. Principal Melinda Thompson said, “Ms. Lauren loves her students and shows a genuine interest in them. She displays a growth mind-set and is always willing to learn and try new things!” Her fellow teachers said, “Ms. Lauren takes the time to get to know each individual student so that she can best meet their needs, and she loves her students and wants them all to succeed.” Ms. Lauren is a great asset to the students she serves at Decaturville Elementary School and we are proud she calls DCSS her home!
