RHS

Riverside High School Soccer hosted its first home game on the new field at Riverside High School.  Thanks to Coach Johnnie Frost, RHS Soccer now has a home field located on RHS' campus, which is also the football practice field.  The first home game was against Scotts Hill High School and it was an exciting game.  Within the first ten seconds of the game, Zach Baker got possession of the ball and broke away to score a goal for RHS.  The Riverside team made approximately 10 shots at the goal, only scoring one.  There were 19 recorded saves by goalie Colton Gilbert, one save by Vraj Patel, one from Bryan Aguilar, and one by Kayden "Tank" Edwards.

Scotts Hill high school made roughly 10 shots on goal with two making it in and one unlucky own-goal.  The final score for the game was Scotts Hill, three- Riverside, one for a Riverside defeat.  Great job soccer team! Everyone is invited to come out this week to the field and watch RHS play on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00pm and Friday for Senior Night at 5:30pm.
